Our custom doctoral hoods are made to order with high-quality materials and traditional academic styling, offering a professional and refined appearance for commencement and academic ceremonies.
Each hood can be fully customized to your specifications, including:
- Fabric color for the outer shell
- Lining color(s)
- Chevron colors
- Velvet color based on degree type
- Piping color for a finished edge detail
Materials and Features: The shell, lining, and chevron fabric are made from high-quality matte polyester, smooth silky satin, and rich velvet trim, providing a professional academic look. The hood includes a secure hang loop, allowing a perfect fit with our doctoral gowns.
Standard dimensions are 42" in length and 26" in width, trimmed with a luxurious 5" velvet band for a distinguished appearance.
Each doctoral hood features precise stitching and accurate proportions, designed for durability and long-term use. Custom doctoral hoods are suitable for PhD, EdD, DBA, and other doctoral programs, for individual graduates, faculty members, or institutional orders.
