Shipping Policy

All non-expedited (ground) orders for in stock items will ship within 7 business days after your order is placed. All expedited orders for in stock items will ship within 1-3 business days after your order is placed. If you need you order more quickly than this, please call us so we can give you more specific information regarding your particular needs. Rush orders may be subject to a rush fee.

Next Day orders placed after 12PM Eastern Time will not be shipped until the next business day. Next Day orders placed on a Friday after 12PM will ship on Monday.

Custom made items will take longer to process – see item availability next to the item on our website or call us for the estimated processing time.

After your order leaves our warehouse it can take 1-7 business days to get to you, depending on your (US) location and shipping method selected. International orders may take longer.

Orders placed after 1 PM (Eastern Standard Time) will begin processing the following business day.

Business days are Monday-Friday and do not include weekends or holidays. Weekends/holidays are not included in processing or transit time. We are not responsible for delays due to weather or incorrect address.

Buyers are responsible for all duties and taxes on international orders.

Return/Exchange Policy

Update: Due to Covid-19, we are not accepting any returns 

Please inspect your order upon receiving. All order shortages or errors must be reported within 5 business days of receiving your order.

At Economy Cap and Gown we stand behind the quality of our products. If you are unhappy with your order you can call or e-mail us to request a refund or exchange within 3 business days of delivery. 15% of the product total will be deducted from your refund, if your request is made after this time period. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges when exchanging items.

Requests for refunds or exchanges will not be granted after 5 days of receiving your order.

We will accept only unused items for return. There will be a 15% re-stocking charge for all opened merchandise.

Shipping charges will not be refunded.

All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within 7 business days upon receipt and inspection of the returned merchandise.

Custom made items are not-refundable. (This includes: Custom Hoods, Custom Stoles, Custom Diplomas, Custom Diploma Covers, and Custom Gowns)
