Below you will find important information regarding our shipping methods, processing times,
and return policies. Please review this page carefully before placing your order.
Shipping Policy
Processing Times
Orders shipped using ground service typically leave our facility within seven (7) business days.
Expedited orders generally ship within one (1) to three (3) business days. Rush order options may
be available for an additional fee. Processing times for custom or personalized items may vary,
and customers should refer to individual product pages for specific details.
Next Day Shipping
For next-day shipping orders, purchases placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time will ship the same
business day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time will ship the following business day.
Orders submitted after 12:00 PM on Fridays will ship the following Monday, excluding holidays.
Transit Times
Transit times are determined by USPS or FedEx carrier schedules and are calculated in business
days, Monday through Friday. Economy Cap and Gown is not responsible for delivery delays caused
by weather conditions, carrier disruptions, or incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses.
International customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or customs fees.
Returns & Exchanges
Before Returning
Customers are encouraged to inspect all items immediately upon receipt. Any issues, including
damaged or incorrect items, must be reported within five (5) business days of delivery.
Please contact us for authorization before returning any product.
Return Shipping Responsibility
If a return is due to an error on our part, Economy Cap and Gown will cover return shipping costs.
If the return is due to customer error, including ordering the incorrect size or item, the
customer is responsible for shipping charges both to and from our facility.
Return Conditions
Due to the seasonal nature of graduation apparel, single-set orders are not eligible for return
after May 1st. All returned items must be unused and in their original condition.
Custom items—including hoods, stoles, diplomas, covers, and gowns—are non-refundable.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued within seven (7) business days after returned items are received
and inspected.
